  • Most PAIs typically present the assembly as a linear sequence of operations. Presenting alternate assembly operations breaks this linear sequence as users need to skip over some steps to get to relevant instructions for their chosen assembly.


Where alternate assembly options occur in the assembly sequence, the alternatives must be presented. For each alternative, an indication should be given as to the page where the user will find instructions relevant to their chosen option.
